1. WHEN CAN WE WORSHIP?
Sunday at 9:30 a.m. (outdoors)
2. I'M NEW TO ST. JOHN. WHERE CAN I FIND YOU?
Welcome! We're excited you're interested in joining us for worship and look forward to meeting you! We'd love to get connected so that we can stay in touch between worship services and answer any questions you have before you come.
3. HOW WILL THE OUTDOOR WORSHIP SERVICE WORK?
It will work as it did last year. When you come into the parking lot, there will be an elder handing out a bulletin and communion supplies. You can stay in your car and tune your radio to 98.9 FM, or you can bring a lawn chair or a blanket and join us out in the grass.
4. WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WILL BE IN PLACE?
In following with the CDC guidelines, masks are now optional. If you're not comfortable without a mask or aren't fully vaccinated, we encourage you to continue to wear one.
We'll have offering baskets outside the sanctuary so that you can drop your offering off on your way in. We have resumed rail (at the altar) communion. Pastor Dave and the elder who is assisting with communion will wear masks during distribution. If you're uncomfortable joining us at the rail for communion, we will have self-service communion supplies available. You can find them next to the offering basket.
And, of course, if you feel sick, please stay home. We will miss you, but we want you to have a start getting better ASAP and we want to keep everyone else who is in attendance safe and healthy.
5. WILL YOU STILL PROVIDE A SERVICE ONLINE?
Yes! Our online worship service will be a permanent part of our ministry. Our Wednesday morning worship service will be a recording service and it will go live on Facebook and YouTube (but you can also find it here) at 8:00 a.m. on Sundays.
If you feel sick, we ask that you stay home and join us through our online service. And if you don't feel comfortable gathering with others yet, that's totally fine. You can continue to join us from home.
