Jesus is the Son of God promised through Old Testament prophets and as recorded in the New Testament of the Bible. He is both perfect man and God and his atoning sacrifice for our sin is the only means by which we can receive forgiveness and reconciliation with God.

There is one God: infinite, eternal, almighty and perfect in holiness, truth and love. In the unity of the Godhead there are three persons. Father, Son and Holy Spirit, co-existent, co-equal and co-eternal. They are one God, in three persons.

The 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 New Testament books are the inspired Word of God through which He continues to speak to humanity.

God made humanity in His own image, and without sin. He also gave them free will and the ability to deny Him. Tempted by Satan to do just that, humanity fell into a broken relationship with God. Fallen, sinful people are lost and without hope apart from salvation in Christ.

The church at its most basic definition is the people of God and not a building, worship service or organization. It is the body of Christ, where everyone has a unique gift and a calling, and is meant to function as a family united by Jesus.

Sacrament is not a Biblical word, but it is used to describe the way God delivers His grace to us. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are connected to Jesus. They point us to Jesus’ sacrifice, death and resurrection and deliver to us the victory that He has won for us.
