The holiday season is upon us. For the young, old, and everyone in-between, this is a special time of year. It's a time for peaceful snowfalls, streets lined with festive decorations, celebrating unique family traditions, and spending time with the people who are of utmost importance to us.
And at the heart of this time is the birth of our Savior. The season of Advent is a season of waiting and anticipation. During this season, we eagerly anticipate the celebration of the birth of Jesus, who was born over 2,000 years ago in order to give us life. But we also spend this season waiting for Christ’s promised return, when He will make all things new.
Throughout Advent, both on Sundays and Wednesdays, we will go through a sermon series called Nativity Stories. This series will look at the different characters in the nativity scene and how God uses them to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
