CHILDREN

Sunday School

On Sunday mornings from 9:15 – 10:15am, we offer Sunday School classes for children in PreK (age 4) through 5th grade.

Sunday School will run from September 2026 to May 2027 and take a break over the summer.

Serving in Worship

In Sunday School, children learn choir songs and share their voices in worship several times throughout the year.

Easter Egg Hunt

In the spring, St. John hosts an Easter Hunt for children and their families, both from our congregation and the community at large. Hop on over for a day of family fun and to hear the Easter story.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Each summer, we offer a one-week VBS that runs from Monday – Thursday, from 9am – 11:30am each day. Students entering PreK through those who just finished 5th grade are welcome to join us!

This year’s VBS will be held July 27-30, 2026.

Trunk or Treat

In the fall, St. John fills our parking lot for a Trunk or Treat. This fun family event allows kids & parents from our congregation and the community to trick or treat in a safe environment, spend quality time together, and learn more about our church.

Faith Stepping Stones

As a church, we want to celebrate each child’s journey in their faith. We mark different milestones with special gifts, given during worship on Rally Sunday each September.

All students entering 2nd grade will receive a copy of The Adventure Bible (NIV).
